Hello,

a bit about me:

I am a freelance science writer and editor.

I completed my PhD at the Centre for Brain Research at the University of Auckland, where I investigated specific lipid differences in the postmortem human brain in Alzheimer's disease. My work developed our understanding of the lipid composition of the human brain and how it differs in Alzheimer's disease. It also extended the use of an experimental technique known as MALDI-IMS.

This site is about who I am, what I do, and how I am hoping to make a difference. It has information about my career and research (CV and publications). I also want to highlight exciting science happening around the world, so please keep an eye on my blog!
